My name is Dulce Bonifacio, my mission is to help homeless and stray dogs on the island of Curaçao and to find them good homes so that they may live out their lives in peace and comfort.

For 10 years, my ‘Animals are our Friends Foundation’ has rescued nearly 1,200 dogs from the streets and the Mondi of Curaçao. The dogs rescued by my Foundation include Puppies, Adult dogs, and everything in between. I have experienced the worst possible situations you can imagine with dogs being dumped and I want to help do something about this..

I am thankful to god and grateful for getting the opportunity to help others. It’s an honor to be able to provide a safe haven for helpless dogs and find the right new owners and find a solution for the stray dogs in Curaçao.  People often ask us, “how can I help?” You can help us out with a donation.
